VTune for Visual Studio 2005 not working

I can't get VTune to start on my VS2005 project. After clicking on the "sampling" button and enter my program information, a number of error dialogs come up, including this:

A serious error occurred in file D:VTuneAnalyzersrcAnalyzerWizardsVTSamplingWiz.cpp at line 502. The failed HRESULT that produced this error is 0x80004005. Please contact technical support.

Is this a known issue, and is there a workaround for it?
