I started a web server to check vtune result file under directory /tmp/vt.
`vtune/2022.3.0/bin64/vtune-backend --web-port=8080 --data-directory="/tmp/vt" --allow-remote-access`
Everything works fine. However, after I restarting the vtune-backend, some result files become empty. Why? Is there any solution for recovering the missing files?
The version info. is Intel(R) VTune(TM) Profiler 2022.3.0 (build 624050) Command Line Tool.

Hi,
Good day to you!
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities. Could you please follow the below suggestions and let us know if the issue still persists or not:
- Try updating VTune to latest version from here(https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/tools/oneapi/vtune-profiler-download.html)
- Try avoiding using /tmp directory while working with VTune. Instead, you could try creating a new result directory somewhere in a home folder and check if the files are missing are not.
If this resolves your issue, make sure to accept it as a solution. This helps others with similar issue. Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Alekhya
