Virtual Machine, SuSE Linux

I'm going to try vtune in VMware workstation, using SuSE 10.2 for a guest OS, and Debian Etch for the host. This could be ugly, or worse. I'll let the board know what happens. This could be a temporary solution for the complete incompatibility with debian.

Hi,

Sampling collection is not supported on virtual machines. Mostly it's because of HW emulation mode.
