Vtune assertion failed- Linux/chromeOS

Vtune assertion failed during hotspot analysis on ChromeOS(ADL). Can you please check the attached logs and let me know the WA for this issue.

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.


Can you try to run Vtune on a supporting operating system? Chrome OS is not mentioned in the Vtune system requirements.

From the crash report, I can see you are using an older version of Vtune, i.e. 2022.1. Can you update your Vtune profiler (2022.3) to the most recent version and test it?

Hi Jaideep,

 

I tried initially with the latest Vtune as well. I still see the same issue-- assertion failure on ADL based systems. I'm using sepdk build as the driver that came along with Vtune

Hi,

 

As per system requirements, we can not run Vtune on Chrome OS. Can you try to run Vtune on a supporting operating system? and if the issue still persists, please let us know.
