Hi,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Could you please run your command prompt as an administrator and then run your vtune-self-checker.bat.
Please follow the below steps:
1. Run command prompt as administrator
2. To set the environment variables run the below command:
<Vtune_installation_directory\2022.2.0\vtune-vars.bat>
example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\vtune\2022.2.0\vtune-vars.bat
3. To run vtune-self-checker run the below command:
<Vtune_installation_directory\2022.2.0\bin64\vtune-self-checker.bat>
example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\vtune\2022.3.0\bin64\vtune-self-checker.bat
Note: For windows, Vtune GUI is available so if you want to run any analysis using Vtune GUI please make sure to run Vtune as an administrator.
Installing Vtune along with base toolkit (preferred):

Installing Vtune stand-alone version:

If the issue still persists please let us know.
Thanks,
Jaideep

Hi even before when I was running it as admin, and now I tried also running the vars before it, but it produced no observable changes.
I always made sure to run Vtune as administrator, but it didn't help.
I also tried running windows, the built-in file corruption tool, and it didn't find anything so my windows seem to be fine.
And also reinstalled the driver a few times, but that also didn't help.
