profiling kernel module using vtune3.0 for linux

Hi

I am new to vtune. I have a kernel module which i want to profile using vtune. is it possible to profile kernel module using vtune.

I am trying to use both collector, sampling and call graph.

BTW i am using linux-2.4.18-14 ( red hat 8.0) and xeon 2.4 gz.

Hey NK,

You can run sampling on the kernel and kernel modules, but you can't run callgraph. Just run a sampling session with the kernel module as module of interest.
