There seems to be a strange glitch in the panel that is used to specify source code directories. In the Preferences panel, I am selecting the VTune Performance Tools -> Directories section. In the "Current Selection Details" box, there is a check box with the title "recursive". I assume this is used to make vtlec search all subdirectories of the selected path for source files. I check this box, and click on OK. The next time I visit the same panel, this box is no longer checked.
