updating cpu time 0 percent

Hi, I am trying to profile the matrix example which is provided as a tutorial
when installing Vtune Amplifier.
I first tried to find hotspots using Vtune, and an analysis of the matrix example was completely done.
(I only analized the program for about two seconds to prevent profiling data gets too big.)
I was able to see the summary result menu, and there was no problem until this point.
But as I pressed the bottom-up button to see some meaningful graphs, it started updating cpu time.
I waited for quite a long time, but it never went up even one percent.
It was not frozen. It was actually working, but doesnot seem to finish its operation.
I waited about 5 hours, but nothing happened. It was just hanging there, only 0 percent.
I don't know why is it working like this.
If someone has knowledge about this situation, please help me.
Here is some information of my environment.
CPU : Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz
OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 6)
2.6.9-67.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Nov 7 13:58:04 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
GCC:gcc (GCC) 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-9)
Vtune: Amplifier_xe_2011 update 8

Ihave experienced of this problem at "Finalizing results..." stage, when Iworked on Visual Studio IDE integrated mode. Simply try standalone (VTune) application to create a new project, specify an application, start hotspots or others. Ibelieve that the performance will get better.
