Intel is honored that both Lakecia Gunter and Barbara McAllister were recognized for their numerous achievements at Intel and in their communities by Diversity MBA Magazine for 2014.
Lakecia Gunter was named to Diversity MBA Magazine’s list of Top 100 under 50 Diverse Executive Leaders list and Barbara McAllister was named to Diversity MBA Magazine’s list of Top 100 under 50 Diverse Emerging Leaders list.
Lakecia is the Chief of Staff of Intel Labs and Technical Assistant to Wen-Hann Wang, Managing Director and Corporate Vice President of Intel Labs. Intel Labs is the company's world-class, industry leading research organization, responsible for driving Intel's technology pipeline and creating new opportunities. In this role, she assists the director and his staff in setting the agenda and establishing technology priorities for both Intel Labs and the company. She is also responsible for all communications and related activities for the director.
In addition to her leadership and management responsibilities, she is a servant leader who is passionate about the development of the next generation of diverse technical leaders and professionals. To keep the pipeline full, she spends numerous hours leading STEM workshops and mentoring middle school and high school students to increase their awareness about STEM.
Lakecia earned a MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Computer Engineering from University of South Florida. Lakecia also earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Barbara leads Intel’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) strategic initiatives that advance math and science education and its potential to enrich lives. Intel education initiatives span across 60+ countries with a huge emphasis on STEM awareness, ecosystem development and career retention.
Barbara’s passion for advancing STEM practices is rooted in her own personal story and the belief in STEM’S ability to fuel innovation and transform lives. She has held key leadership positions in IT, Manufacturing and Corporate Real Estate. She is on the Board of Directors of Grantmakers for Education and recently launched a parent’s initiative aimed at demystifying the role of STEM careers in our underserved communities.
Barbara has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA both from the University of South Carolina and is currently a PhD student at ASU in Technology and Social Dimensions.

Linda is passionate about sustainability and corporate responsibility. She manages communications for Intel's Public Affairs and Sustainability organization. She graduated from the UC Berkeley College of Natural Resources with a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies.
