Yesterday marked the beginning of Intel India’s first-ever fully virtual, free-to-attend All.ai Summit. This four-day event will provide insights into the state of AI today, advanced research projects currently underway, and strategies for applied technology and problem-solving in India and the world. We are featuring keynotes, presentations and live announcements from luminaries in the field, as well as partners from key industries, including government, healthcare and more.

Intel India kicked off the week’s events today with the grand opening and live inauguration of the new Applied AI Research Center, INAI, at the International Institute of Information Technology-Hyderabad (IIIT-H). This first-of-its-kind center will focus on leveraging AI to help solve complex challenges in healthcare and smart mobility, with the goal of driving entrepreneurship and the democratization of AI in India and abroad. To celebrate the opening, INAI and IITH staff came together with K. T. Rama Rao, Minister of IT of Telangana, to officially launch the center and unveil its digital readiness program, which will prepare government and business leaders for the new innovations in applied AI that INAI anticipates producing.

A first of its kind, AI For Youth Virtual Symposium was launched by the Minister of Education, India wherein attendees were able to learn from diverse perspectives on the transformational power of AI, engage in sessions on building digital readiness and democratizing emerging technologies. This symposium is co-hosted by Intel India and CBSE under Ministry of Education who have been working together to help close AI-readiness gaps by increasing the pace of AI integration in India’s education system. The learning content is based on Intel® AI For Youth program and curated by many AI enthusiasts and coaches.

Stay tuned for more updates from the All.ai Summit as the week progresses.
