 Breaking ground: Carrie’s leadership philosophy

Carrie's leadership philosophy is centered around four core principles: empowerment, collaboration, innovation and fearlessness. She emphasizes the importance of providing the necessary tools and resources to help her team succeed. Collaboration, she believes, is the heart of innovation, and she encourages her team to be fearless in their approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Carrie's philosophy is a testament to her resilience and determination. As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field, she has faced and overcome numerous challenges. She firmly believes that removing the fear of failure unleashes the true potential for growth and innovation.

The power of mentorship: a catalyst for growth

Throughout her career, Carrie has recognized the importance of mentorship. She attributes part of her success to her mentors at Intel, who provided invaluable guidance, support and advice. Four key figures in her journey are Nisha Ahuja, an Intel Fellow, Congchao Cheng, a senior principal engineer, Jun Zhang, a principal engineer at Intel, and Roger Chien, a principal engineer at Intel.

Now, in her capacity as a senior leader, Carrie is paying it forward. As a mentor, she is helping to shape the next generation of engineers in Taiwan. She sets clear goals, provides necessary guidance and creates opportunities for her mentees to grow and excel.
