Celebrating Our Differences: How We’re Being Better Allies at Intel Poland

Dominik Kaszewski, Software Engineer and IGLOBE Poland Champion, and Anna Alberska, Software Engineer and IGLOBE Poland Co-Chair, share why inclusion starts with respect and how we’re growing stronger allyship and community within Intel.

Here at Intel, we believe that it is not our similarities but our differences that make us stronger together. Diversity allows for a free exchange of constructive ideas, but only inclusion will make us One Intel and help everybody genuinely be themselves. Each employee represents a different perspective on a project that enables us to create excellent products and utilize our fullest potential to impact people’s lives through world-changing technology.

Intel believes in the values of Respect, enshrined in the ‘Treat Each Other Fairly’ rule from Intel's Code of Conduct—something all employees promise to uphold. It prohibits any discrimination based on, amongst others, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

This year, we have driven greater inclusion by opening the Polish Chapter of IGLOBE, Intel’s community of LGBT+ employees and their allies. We were grateful for all who joined us, participated in our events, and wrote supporting messages. This was also the first year that Intel Poland celebrated Pride Month, and we can only hope that those celebrations will continue to grow, both inside Intel as well as in our external presence, to show that Intel is truly a Great Place to Work—for all.


Bartosz Ciepluch, VP of Data Platforms Group (DPG), GM of DPG Poland and IGLOBE Poland Executive Sponsor, shares why he stepped up as an ally.

I decided to become Executive Sponsor of Polish Chapter of IGLOBE because I strongly believe in the power of diversity. This power can be unleashed only if we truly respect each other.

And this is what I would like to encourage all of us to do; place additional attention on trying to understand and value different opinions, perspectives, and individualities.
