Tiffany Lawrie, Revenue Operations in Intel Automotive, has embraced both new places and skill sets throughout her 20+ year career at Intel. From Arizona to Ireland to China, Supply Chain to Business Units, Tiffany has approached new experiences with enthusiasm. In her words, “The opportunities are endless at Intel …it’s really about seeking out what you want to do next.”

A Global Perspective

Tiffany has spent her entire career at Intel, and her journey has taken her not just all over the United States, but all over the world. She has worked at three different US sites – in Massachusetts, Arizona and Michigan – and she’s visited a variety of others, including a six-week stint in China. Early in her career, Tiffany had the opportunity to complete an expat assignment in Ireland. “My experience was life changing,” says Tiffany. “Not only did I gain invaluable work experience, I learned how to work with different cultures and had significant personal growth.”

Tiffany’s time spent in different locales and cultures have given her a greater appreciation for how to be a more respectful and considerate colleague, and she consistently aims to apply these learnings: “I value when my co-workers share their personal lives with me, as it helps me understand their interests and how I can better connect to improve our working relationship. I have learned to be more succinct in my communication as the English language is often confusing and I strive to do my best to schedule meetings during ‘standard’ business hours for other geographies.”

Balancing Personal and Professional Wins

Tiffany has continuously prioritized both her personal and professional development. While living in Arizona, she earned her MBA from Arizona State University with support from the Intel Tuition Assistance Program.

She has taken two sabbaticals, both tied to exciting personal milestones – her wedding and the birth of her second son. In her first sabbatical, she was able to travel extensively visiting Florida, St. Lucia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and South Korea. She is planning to take her third sabbatical next year, which
she’ll spend traveling with her husband and two sons.

Always Learning and Growing

After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Tiffany didn’t have a clear vision for how she wanted her career to unfold. Leaning into change and taking initiative have allowed her to explore many facets of the organization. “The options at Intel are endless,” says Tiffany. “There are technical and non-technical paths, where experiences, competencies and skillsets are valued, and the ability to learn is embraced.” Three constants throughout her career have been determination, building relationships, and taking informed risks.

Tiffany has enjoyed a dynamic career at Intel spending time in Fab Materials, Corporate Planning & Logistics, and the Internet of Things Group. She is now a proud member of the Intel Automotive team, where she’s thrilled to be a part of building Intel’s Automotive business. “Everyone in Automotive has a voice right now,” says Tiffany. “Throughout its history, Intel has been at the center of helping industries through massive disruption; we don’t have to just accept ‘as is,’ instead we get to create it – that’s super exciting!”
