Charity Run Gdansk
Participating in the Charity Run Gdansk was an apt way of celebrating Intel turning 50. In July 2018, 160 of our employees donned their running kit and joined the race, collecting sponsorship to support the local animal shelter, Promyk.
School Starter Kit Collection
Building on our contributions last year, Intel’s Gdansk Volunteering Group spearheaded the collection of school supplies for children in need at hospices and the Municipal Family Assistance Center in Gdansk.
It is often an unfortunate reality that, owing to the sickness of one child, the whole family lives in poverty. Donated school supplies help lift a portion of financial burden for these families.
The collection took place in August, before the start of the new school year. Our team helped one hundred children, many of them unwell or with seriously ill siblings.
Christmas Gift Donation
In 2018, our Intel Poland employees once again helped Santa Claus fulfill the Christmas wishes of children and old people alike. Supporting the Pomeranian Hospice for Children, Pomerania for Children Foundation, and Gdansk Municipal Social Welfare Center, our volunteers made the wishes of local community members in need come true.
