As a Technical Lead at Intel, Nikhila brings over 8 years of expertise in AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn, along with Intel OneAPI toolkits. She has helped numerous developers in optimizing and analyzing performance using tools like Intel® VTune Profiler and Intel® Advisor.
In addition to this, she specializes in making the most of Avaamo's enterprise chatbot development framework to create chatbots for Intel OneAPI toolkits.
Nikhila's extensive experience at Intel has given her a strong understanding of both AI frameworks and Intel analyzers. She’s developed a unique ability to connect the dots between hardware and software, which allows her to create AI-driven tools that make life easier for developers and optimize productivity.
“When I mentor engineers, I can use this experience to help them solve problems with Intel hardware and software. It makes it easier for me to understand their issues and give them advice that works”, she says. Overall, her Intel background helps her to be a better mentor and support others in the tech industry.
Looking back on her mentoring journey, Nikhila recalls a startup asking for help with slow performance on Intel hardware during a mentoring session. She recommended using specific Intel tools like VTune Profiler to analyze the performance, and optimize the performance using Intel optimized libraries. “Seeing their application run much faster was really rewarding”, she says. This moment highlighted for Nikhila how practical guidance can lead to immediate, tangible improvements, reinforcing the value of mentorship in helping startups unlock their full potential.
