Srilatha started her Intel journey as a junior validation engineer in Bangalore. Throughout her career, she has worked on various teams which gave her invaluable experience in all facets of front-end IP development, processes, and support.
Now an engineering manager, she plays a crucial link role between multiple teams to define, design, and test IP features that enable Intel to deliver competitive products for client, server, and IoT market segments.
“I find it exciting and refreshing to have the opportunity in this role to create a high performing team and grow the technical expertise of bright, talented engineers in a vibrant cross-functional and cross-site environment.”
Roshni believes that your career is enriching when you are in roles you enjoy. And that’s something she knows firsthand, having started a fun journey of team work, innovation, and risk-taking at Intel in 2005.
From launching and managing the Intel India Facebook page to driving the internet adoption on PC’s through the Connected India program and beyond, her focus is on building the company’s brand throughout India.
“Intel is an amazing company—the culture is about empowerment, transparency, and flexibility. If you are willing to collaborate, be open, acknowledge failures, and give credit to your co-workers—be it managers or peers—the inclusivity drives amazing outcomes.”
Chaitanya started at Intel as a recent college graduate in 2003 and over the next seven years worked across pre-silicon and post-silicon tools supporting 10 primary and more than 100 secondary project teams spread across multiple Intel sites, including Oregon, California, Arizona, Texas, Israel, and Penang.
This breadth of experience enabled him to later pursue management, a move that was encouraged by his managers, peers, and stakeholders. Though he was uncertain at the time of his decision to take a leadership role, he now says:
“I took the leap of faith and trusted myself. The first year was tough, but it was a great learning experience. I had good mentors and coaches, both internally and externally. Overall, it’s been an amazing journey so far, and I’m looking forward to more learning and future contributions.”
Sumedha joined Intel after building a 20-year career in the technology industry to lead the development of the systems-on-chips (SoC) design portfolio, which included growing a capable team that has roughly tripled in size, leading to five times the number of SoC designs and contributing to larger revenue generation.
When she looks back at the past five years, she reflects that the culture and values at Intel India have helped her create an impact, both as a team lead and a site diversity and inclusion leader.
“I felt included and part of the Intel team from day one. My ideas and input were heard, and I was plugged into the cross-site Intel network thanks to the excellent support provided by my management. I was empowered to look at opportunities and expand the charter of my team.”
Tiju joined Intel 16 years ago after graduating with a master’s degree in technology and has since worked in various Intel Communication Groups and the Intel Labs before joining the Microprocessor Core Design team in Bangalore.
He received Intel’s highest honor—the Intel Achievement Award—for his contributions to the Single Chip Cloud computer research program.
“As chief engineer, I’m currently responsible for defining and driving frequency, power, and quality convergence for the next generation microprocessor expected in 2020.”
