vPro is more than Managaeability marquee imagePerformance, stability, and security are at the core of Intel’s comprehensive management platform built for business

IT administration has never been more complex than it is now. Office workers are far away from their desks and people are logging in from home on networks far beyond IT’s control. What hasn’t changed? Cyber threats, data deluge, and limited IT budgets.

To meet the challenge, IT pros need a resilient platform that delivers powerful device management without sacrificing security, stability, or the productivity of today’s anywhere, everywhere workforce.

The Intel vPro® platform is built for business. It delivers improved security, higher productivity, and lowering costs plus streamlined management tools that can help you turn 24/7 demands into problems solved.
Intel vPro platform: Management modernized

The Intel vPro platform includes Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT), which allows IT managers to remotely power on PCs anytime, no matter where the device is. No matter if the device is in the office, on a home Wi-Fi network, or logged in through a cell network hotspot, IT can access the device, run diagnostics, and make updates. Intel AMT supports keyboard video mouse (KVM) control, so IT has full visibility and complete access to remote devices.
Going beyond DASH

Intel AMT is based on the Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware standard (DASH) , a web services‒based standard for secure out-of-band and remote management.

The Intel vPro platform goes beyond basic DASH capabilities with added functionality that ensures it is scalable, easy to deploy, and able to integrate with industry tools. This allows the Intel vPro platform to manage devices at the hardware level while adding support to IT professionals.
Outside the firewall? No problem.

The Intel® Endpoint Management Assistant (Intel® EMA) extends those capabilities beyond the corporate firewall. This cloud-based app lets IT wake, maintain, and reboot devices outside of the company’s firewall. It’s not limited to computers used by remote workers. IT can use the Intel® Endpoint Management Assistant (Intel® EMA) for digital signage, control systems, embedded devices—virtually any edge computing device built on the Intel vPro platform.

Intel Hardware Shield also minimizes the risk of malicious code injection by locking down system-critical resources to help prevent planted malware from compromising the OS. Hardware-to-software security reporting enables the operating system to enforce a more complete security policy—all with no additional IT infrastructure required.
The Intel vPro platform: The stability organizations need

For business, stability is as essential as performance, not just for a single PC but for the entire IT fleet. Improving stability simplifies life-cycle complexity and reduces maintenance and repair costs. It also reduces the risks that come with hardware changes and upgrade cycles.

However, the volume of software updates and driver incompatibilities creates complexity for IT that makes it difficult for them to effectively manage their PC fleet. Intel created the Intel® Stable IT Platform Program (Intel® SIPP) to alleviate this complexity. Intel SIPP puts IT in the driver’s seat by aiming for no hardware changes throughout the buying cycle, for up to 15 months or until the next generational release.
Intel vPro platform: Built for business

The benefits of running the Intel vPro platform alongside Windows 10 Professional go straight to the bottom line. According to a recent report from Forrester Consulting commissioned by Intel , the Intel vPro platform’s streamlined device management and enhanced security can help eliminate an estimated 28,160 hours of lost employee time, which adds up to nearly USD 1.3 million in labor costs over three years.[1]
