Hi,
I am writing a new Operating System, it has no kernel (it is exokernel based OS) , it has no GLIBC, and it will never have Direct X. So, the drivers Intel provides, will not work for me.
I need to prepare it to be ready to do parallel computing with GPUs. So, the question is: will I be able to do this wit Intel's GPUs ? Is this achievable ?
Any information on the subject will be helpful.
TIA
Nulik

Hi Nulik,
In short yes, this should be achievable. I am afraid I don't have any resources to help with exokernel driver development as it is not something we have done much work in. We do have the Intel Processor Graphics guide: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-graphics-developers-guides. it is API and kernel focused but there might be something there to help. I will turn over rocks and see what I can find internally, maybe one someone has done some research on this and can help.
