In Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars the first level becomes extremely dark at an unplayable level. This has been an issue with Intel HD graphics for a very long time. Updating drivers don't solve the issue. Is there a new driver update that solves this glitch?

You are in the wrong forum.
So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
Then ATTACH the text file using the instructions under the reply window ( Drag and drop here or browse files to attach ).

Alright mate, here’s what to do. Hit the “Windows key” + “R” on your keyboard and type in ‘Appdata’ then navigate to Roaming>LucasArts>LEGOStarWarsIII and open the ‘pcconfig’ file with a text editor like notepad. Look in the file for where it says ‘ExposureControlEnabled’ and change the value beside it (on the right) from 1 to 0 and save the file. That should fix it. It’s a common issue for intel graphics.
