Hi grgr3030,
Thank you for reaching out regarding the performance issues you're experiencing with Minecraft on your Intel Arc B570. I understand how frustrating it can be when your system isn't performing as expected, especially when you're trying to enjoy gaming with modpacks and shaders.
To better assist you in resolving this issue, I'd like to gather some additional information:
Was Minecraft working properly on your B570 before, or has this been an ongoing issue since you first started using the GPU?
When did you first notice this performance degradation? Was there any specific event (driver update, Windows update, new modpack installation) that coincided with when the issues began?
Are you currently running the latest Intel Arc graphics driver version 32.0.101.7029? If not, please download and install it from:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html
Recommended Steps: If you haven't already, I'd also recommend performing a clean installation of the graphics driver using Intel's clean installation guide: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389/graphics.html
For faster communication and more detailed troubleshooting, I'd be happy to schedule a phone call with you. This would allow us to work through the issue more efficiently and provide real-time guidance.
Best regards,
Dean R.

Thanks for the reply, I bought a b570 2 days ago and started using it from that, I'd installed the latest driver, besides Minecraft I also tested other games like Dead Island 2, Warhammer darktide, zenless zero zone, need for speed heat and genshin impact. The card runs great, but in need for speed heat I notice the game has shuttering, even though I already installed the newest driver. On minecraft java, when playing some modpack like Medieval MC and Better MC with the shader turned on, the performance of the game is pretty bad because it has shutter and the GPU is not fully utilized. For some reason, the card runs better on heavier games compared to minecraft, it also has a problem when recording with obs because the video is very laggy

Hi grgr3030,
Thank you for the detailed follow-up and for providing additional information about your Intel Arc B570 performance across different games. I appreciate you sharing the specifics about your recent GPU purchase and the various games you've tested.
I understand you're experiencing poor performance and stuttering with Minecraft Java Edition when using modpacks like Medieval MC and Better MC with shaders enabled, despite your GPU not being fully utilized (capped at 60% usage).
However, I need to inform you that issues related to game modifications (mods) fall under a different support category. Since you're experiencing problems specifically with Minecraft modpacks and shaders (which are modifications to the base game), I recommend reaching out to the modpack and shader developers directly, as they would be best positioned to optimize their modifications for Intel Arc graphics.
For technical issues related to mods and Intel graphics compatibility, the developers can submit cases directly through our Game Developer Program Forums:
- Developing Games on Intel Graphics - Intel Community
- Issues · IGCIT/Intel-GPU-Community-Issue-Tracker-IGCIT
For Your Other Performance Issues, I noticed you mentioned several other concerns including:
- Stuttering in Need for Speed Heat despite latest drivers
- OBS recording producing laggy video output
- General performance questions about your new Arc B570
To avoid confusion and ensure each issue receives proper attention, I recommend creating separate forum threads for each of these specific problems. This will allow us to provide focused troubleshooting for each individual issue without mixing different technical problems together.
For Minecraft modpack issues: Contact the modpack and shader developers for optimization support
For Need for Speed Heat stuttering: Please create a new thread specifically for this issue
For OBS recording problems: Please create a separate thread for streaming/recording performance issues
This approach will ensure you receive the most effective support for each specific problem you're experiencing with your new Intel Arc B570.
Best regards,
Dean R.
