Using CPU and Intel onboard graphics for a process

Hello, I am new to computer arch. I needed some guidance. I want to know if intel provides the developers with a way to utilize its cores AND it's onboard graphics unit (PG), to execute a process?

TLDR: Can I use intel cores and onboard graphics to execute a process so I can execute the process faster?

Hi Steven,

Sounds like you are talking multi core, multi threading  or parallel processing. The answer is yes, it does depends on usage however. In some cases there could be a performance penalty is fay the CPU can't keep up with the GPU or visa versa.
