Is there possible for translating the documentation to the other languages?

Hello,

I'm curious about is there possible for translating the Developer Document? The Software Development Document (Such as Intel 64 and IA-32 Architectures Software Developer’s Manual) only has English version, and also the documentation is really long, so if possible, translating the documentation to other languages is convinent for the developers who's main language isn't English.

Thanks,

Hi AlmondRyan,

I am afraid you are not allowed to do so.

Please refer to the Intel Terms of Use.

There are notices specific to Intel Documents as follow:

Permission to Use: Permission to use any Intel-owned white papers, press releases, datasheets, specification documents, FAQs, etc. ("Documents") made available as Materials via the Websites is granted, provided that (a) the copyright notice at the bottom of these Terms and this permission notice appear in all copies, (b) you may use Documents only for your informational and non-commercial personal use, (c) the Documents will not be copied or posted on any network computer or broadcast in any media, (d) no modifications of any Documents are made, and (e) you are otherwise in compliance with all of the Terms. Any other uses require the express written permission of Intel, which may be withheld in Intel’s sole discretion.

Regards,

Peh

Hi AlmondRyan,

For those documentation, you can use the “Print” button to download the document as PDF. Next, you can translate the downloaded PDF into other language with the third-party software (e.g. free online PDF translator).

Hi Peh,

Thank you for your reply. But I have another question: Can I publish my translated document in my own website? If I can, I will translate the document in MkDocs make it a interact-able document website for other developers. I will have a link that link to Intel Documentation.

Thanks,

AlmondRyan
