[Metro AI Suite Device Qualification] Failed on Media Performance Test & LPR Proxy Pipeline

Hi Intel Support Team,

We ran Metro AI Suite Device Qualification (V2.0) on our platform and observed two failed test cases:

• Media Performance Test – FAILED

• License Plate Recognition (LPR) AI Proxy Pipeline Benchmark – FAILED

Attachments we will provide:

1. TwoFailed report.zip 

2. Media Performance Test_Failed.txt 

3. LPR AI Proxy Pipeline Benchmark_Failed.txt 

Could you please advise how to resolve the failure?

Hi Denise,

Based on the report, it appears that some software components were not installed properly. Did you encounter any errors during the installation process? The following components appear to be missing, which is preventing the tests from running. Could you try running the installation script once more and share the contents of /var/log/esb-cli/Metro_AI_Suite_Device_Qualification_for_Hardware_Builder_2.0/?

Libva / VAAPI Driver

Mesa

I didn't encounter any errors during the installation process. I have reruned the installation script, please refer to the attached Metro_AI_Suite_Device_Qualification_for_Hardware_Builder_2.0.zip

Hi Denise,

For the Media Performance Test failure, make sure your drivers and firmware are up to date and that hardware acceleration is enabled. For the LPR AI Proxy Pipeline Benchmark, ensure all AI runtime dependencies are installed and memory allocations meet the benchmark requirements. After updating these, re-run the tests.

Thanks for providing the logs, I'm not seeing any issues there. Was this a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 installation? Can you please try to install the GPU drivers using the following documentation?

Once that is done, try to run the tests again.
