Hello, @YB:

Thanks for your update.

You should use the Intel(R) EEUpdate and Intel(R) Ethernet NVM Update Tools can be used for the situation mentioned in the first question of your previous communication. You can find them in the  Intel(R) Network Connections Tools PV LAN Software Tools document # 348742.

On the other hand, you should refer to the first page of the release note document of the Intel® Ethernet Controller I210 and I211- AT Production NVM Images document # 513655 to find the information that may answer your last question.

You need to be logged into your Resource & Design Center (RDC) privileged account to find these documents on the following websites:

https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/348742

https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/513655

You should fill out the form stated on the following website when you have problems with the provided websites or want to update your RDC account:

Best regards,

Hello, @YB:

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

You should review the information stated in sections 1.7.7.5,  10.5.9.2.7, and 10.6.3.16.1; on pages 19, 678, 679, and 748 of the Intel® Ethernet Controller I210 Datasheet document # 333016. You can find this document on the following website:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ethernet-controllers/i210-ethernet-controller-datasheet.html

Hi,

Does that means the firmware version can only be found by executing the MC command?

Is there any default firmware version of the controller?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for all the information.

Based on the release note, looks like 3.30 is the latest version of the firmware.

Is it possible to know the original firmware version?

Hello, @YB:

Thanks for your reply.

You should review the versions listed on the release note. The lower version listed is the one that is the answer to your question.

Best regards,

@CarlosAM_INTEL.
