Hello, @chandru:
Thanks for your update.
Could you please let us know how many units of the project related to this circumstance have been manufactured? How many are affected? Could you please give the failure rate? Also, could you please list the sources that you have used to design it and if it has been verified by Intel?
Finally, could you please give pictures of the top side markings of the affected Ethernet Controllers? Because the attached one does not have clear this information.
We are waiting for your answer to these questions.

cross verified our custom board schematic with I210-CL/CS Reference Design: Schematic document # 573497. Schematic looks ok.
Now i am validating this board in Linux (kernel 2.6.32). Now i am getting ''02:00.0 Ehtenet controller: Intel Corporation I210 Gigabit unprogrammed (rev 03)
as per my understanding we have to configure invm ?

Hello, @chandru:
Thanks for your reply.
This error code is inability to read configuration information from the flash. Due to this fact, could you please let us know the Operating system (OS) you are using? If this is the cause there is no way for SW to "recover" it the only recovery being to erase the flash, verify it is erased and then reprogram it.
We are waiting for your reply.
