I210's MACADR has returned to the value written 6 years ago

We developed it by writing a specific value in MACADR, and when shipping the product, we wrote a different value and shipped it, and 6 years later, the original specific value returned naturally.

The board equipped with WGI210IT has an ATOM E3815 CPU and Windows 8.1 industry Pro OS, and was developed in 2015. Support for the OS has already ended.

I re-checked the I210 data sheet, but regarding Alternate MAC Address Support in 4.5.11, due to unexpected behavior of this function,
Is it possible that a value that has been written in the past is being set?

I do not use  Alternate MAC Address function, but is it possible that it became active due to an unexpected cause such as a driver problem around 2015?

Hello,  @kuboyasu:

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

We need to clarify that the Bay Trail processors have been discontinued and are no longer supported, as you may verify on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022396/processors.html

However,  we suggest verifying that the affected implementation fulfills the requirements stated in the answers to questions  2.23,  2.9, 2.14, 2.15, 2.16, and 2.9, on pages 9, 6,  and 8 of the Intel® Ethernet Controller I210/I211 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that can be found in the following website:

https://cdrdv2-public.intel.com/334026/ethernet-controller-i210-i211-faq.pdf

Also, you may find the available documentation for the Bay Trail processors on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/platforms/details/bay-trail/docs.html

Best regards,

@CarlosAM_INTEL.
