INtel 3165 will not allow 5G connection even though shows same under connection.

Have Win 10 and Dell Inspiron 7559 with Intel dual channel 3165 network card. Cannot connect to TP-Link_280F-5G although can connect to the TP-Link 2.4G channel.

Why? My friend can connect to both 2.4G and 5 G with his older tablet so router fine. Network symbol in task bar shops both 2.4 and 5 G choices.
