Good Afternoon,

I'm working on the redesign of a board that hold the I210 controller using Windows 10 64bits.

I'm looking for the EEUPDATEW64e.exe tool in order to run it and show the adapter connected.

May you please provide me the link to download it.

example :

C:\EEUPDATEW64e.exe

Then I'll be able to program the I210 component and the definesits MAC Address using the below command :

C:\EEUPDATEW64e.EXE /NIC=1 /D binaryfile.bin /MAC=MACaddress

Thanks for your support.

Regards,

Méderic.

Hello, @mederic:

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

The Intel(R) I210, I211, and X550 EEPROM Access Tool [EAT] document # 572162 is the tool that may help you. It can be found when you are logged into your Resource & Design Center (RDC) privileged account at the following website:

http://www.intel.com/cd/edesign/library/asmo-na/eng/572162.htm

The RDC Account Support form is the channel to process your account update request or any inconveniences with the provided website. It can be found at:

Hello @CarlosAM_INTEL

I tried to get access to the link your provided me but my account status for Resource & Design Center is still pending (Not Authorized to Access).

Is there another way to reach the link you provided me ?

I also have two binary :

- In the past we used : Dev_Start_I210_Copper_NOMNG_8Mb_A2_3.25_0.03.bin
- Now we are using : Dev_Start_I210_Copper_SMB_8Mb_A2_0.03_3.20.bin

Is these binay file that come from Intel, do you know the difference ?

Thanks for your support.
Regards.

Hello @CarlosAM_INTEL

We found on our network and install the version of EEUPDATE v5.19.25.00

- Using the command line EEUPDATEW64e.exe (refer to the attached Screenshot1.jpg), the board is detected.

- Using the command line EEUPDATEW64e.EXE /NIC=1 /D Dev_Start_I210_Copper_SMB_8Mb_A2_0.03_3.20.bin /MAC=xxxxxxxxxxx

It failed with the error « Flash region protected » .

Is it because we are trying to program an I210 component that is still programmed (do this means that It should works with a Blank device) ?

- This is confirmed using the command line EEUPDATEW64e.EXE /NIC=1 /IDFLASH

We got the return "Shared Flash image update FAILED! Flash region protected" (refer to the attached Screenshot2.jpg).

Mederic.

Hello, @mederic:

Thanks for your reply.

The information requested required that you have a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) signed with Intel provided it to you, so the RDC privileged is needed to have it.

Due to this fact, feel free to use the form to request more details of your RDC privileged account update request.

Best regards,

@CarlosAM_INTEL.

Hi @CarlosAM_INTEL

I already create an IPS ticket on the below link, this confirm that the NDA is still created :

Hello @CarlosAM_INTEL

Thanks for your message and the email received.

I’d like to create a new case on IPS for my query that concerns the component I210, but may you please tell me what I have to write in « Search Product » ?

Hello @CarlosAM_INTEL
I'm sorry I do not understand the question, may you please tell me what to do or what are you looking for ?
I have created an IPS ticket, but we told me that it is not appropriated for that issue because IPS concerns only FPGA.
The GE NDA was validated that allow me to have access to support.
Thanks.
