        System will hang up at reboot / cold reset / warm reset once we access Gbe MBARA + 0x40 fo reading Mac address

        Is there any datasheet or porting guide to support this ? how to access Gbe Mac address data w/o gagibit uefi driver installation.

That's great to hear from you. 

There is my data as the following,  

  1. Are you designing a board/system with embedded Intel network card? the system has on board Bbe Lan 
  2. What is the complete model of your network card? (i219)
  3. Can you tell us more why do you need the document? No idea. since there is any instruction to access or get mac address.

   Thank you for support, 

Here brings more information as the following, 

 

  1. What is the brand and model of your board/system?
    1.  CML & RKL with Gbe Lan (I219v module)
  2. What is your OS? 
    1. OS as win11 / win10. Actually, the feature to display Gbe Lan Mac address informaiton under BIOS SCU , Main Page. 
  3. When did you start experiencing this issue? Is it a brand new system?
    1. there is no any previous case to our board design. It is our common new feature.
