i210 Device off function issue

Hello Intel,

I used i210 device off function, and look datasheet 6.2.19 bit15 setting to 1b.

So I change value B200 at address 0x1E.

And circuit used jumper JP_LAN2 setting pin.28

Then have two setting

1. 1-2 : Enable Lan i210

2. 2-3 : Disable Lan i210

Test jumper JP_LAN2, and setting 1-2 then power on.

It can see i210 operation under windows 10.

Test finish, shunt down windows.

I will setting 2-3 at JP_LAN2. => Power on => But still can see i210 operation under windows.

I need disable i210 after shunt down windows again.

What does mistake in circut or i210 code ?

Thank you for your information!

I try to complete verification, and followed the guidelines stated of the document # 333016.

Still get same result

But i210 have another problem.

When Power is ON

I setting JP_LAN2 1-2 to 2-3 => shunt down => i210 ensure disable

It needn't shunt down again! (JP_LAN2 2-3 to 1-2 same result).

By the way, the APM Enable (Word 0x24) function. I need setting to 0b, when use Device Off function?

Schematics mostly the same with reference schemaric pdf file.

Only dec_off_n function have used jumper setting to change pull-high or pull-low.

Controller ON or OFF i210-AT device.

I was review i210 datasheet, and found "asynchronous" on table 2-8.

What does this mean?

As stated before, change jumper 1-2 or 2-3 under OS.

Next restart system, then function was normal operation (can enable/disable i210) .

Can tell me this operator was sure?

It dev_off function in connection with intel Management Engine?
