Can the SMBus of the i210-IT ethernet controller be connected to an I2C interface?

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

 

It might be possible to interface the SMBus with I2C; however, we don’t have any guidelines about this implementation available.  You can use the following documents as references:
