I have an LG NC2100 digital signage board that I picked up on ebay to use as a low power server. Was working great until I decided to do something stupid and pressed CTRL + P to disable intel MEBx.
Now when I turn it on, I get a black screen on the HDMI connection, and it seems like the system hangs. I can access the BIOS on HDMI, but that's all I can get the board to do.
I've tried resetting the bios by pulling the motherboard battery, but still get the same symptoms.
There are no options in the bios to turn MEBx on/off. There's supposed to be a ctrl P screen, but it never shows up as I suspect it's defaulting to VGA. But I won't know until I get some wires soldered to the board edge connector. And there's no external pcie slots, so no way to hook up an external GPU.
Is this normal behavior after disabling intel MEBx on a board with intel integrated graphics? And how can I fix this?

Hello @Devicemodder,
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
There is this article, you can compare with the BIOS settings to check if you can activate the MEBx on the board again:
Also, maybe you can try asking here, as that forum is more centered in Graphics issues:

Best regards,

There are no settings in the bios itself to re-enable MEBx. I'd have to get the ctrl ap screen to show somehow.
