DDR4 Bring-up Support

Hello,

We are working on a custom design based on the Atom C3508. This is the first time we have had to perform a board bringup for an Intel product. Previously, we have been using other architectures (PowerPC, ARM) from different manufacturers.

I am trying to get a plan together for initial hardware bringup. Specifically, I would like to know the general process for bringing up the DDR4 memory. In the past, we have made use of certain tools (for example, NXP's QCVS) which will fill in a lot of controller values based on vendor recommandations. (Basic clock information would be provided as an input, DDR configuration code would be generated as an output). Additionally, there were certain verification tools included which performed a number of functions like write leveling, for example.

Does Intel have a DDR4 bringup guide document / checklist / QCVS equivalent tool for performing this bringup?

All responses are appreciated, thanks.
