Power on AIMB-212 board issue

I got one Intel AIMB-212 seed board (Intel Atom N450) recently. It has two power options, use a 12VDC power adapter or use an ATX power supply. I bought one 12VDC power adapter and set the PSON1 jumper to work in AT mode. When switching on the power, I noticed LED2 and LED3 is on, but nothing appears on the LCD monitor which connected to the board via a VGA cable. I didn't insert the DDR2 RAM, mouse and keyboard are not connected either. I didn't get any further useful information from the startup manual and/or user manual. Did folks here address similar issue already?

Hi XuLi:

My colleagues at Intel tell me that you need to plug in the memory. Without the memory the BIOS will not proceed. Please try that and let us know if it fixes your problem.

Actually I read that thread before I posting my question, he wants to use a single ATX power, whereas I am considering using a single 12VDC power adapter. We met different problems. And I have visited the link also, they did very limited help. Anyway, thank you!

Hello,

I refered to the other thread mentioned, which says that you need to use 12V DC Jack and not ATX Supply. I will try this soon.

Just wanted to confirm whether the board supports 533 MHz DDR2 RAM? As the board manual lists only 667 MHz/ 800 MHz DDR2 RAM Modules, but I suppose the lower one won't do any harm.
