Texture Streaming on E660

Hi,

I'm currently evaluating an Intel E660+EG20T based board with an application that generates live texture data. The performance is currently quite deceiving (around 12fps). I've read some forum posts on the Imagination Tech. web site stating that the powervr sgx535 (used in the E660) was using a twiddling algorithm for each uploaded texture.

Does anyone knows of a way to maybe by-pass this twiddling algorithm? I've seem some "patches" on the Texas Instrument web site for using the GL_IMG_TEXTURE_STREAM opengl extension. This extension looks promising for my application but I think it is not currently available in the EMGD driver.

What are my options here? Is there something similar coming in the next driver versions?

Regards,

Marc
