Yaho, I'm compiling a list of all CPUs (LGA 1700) with a maximum power consumption of 65W to see what's best for a personal NAS/server.
In other words, the best power-to-consumption ratio.
My main question is: is there a maximum turbo power for Core i-TE CPUs? (They do have a maximum turbo frequency, though.)
Another question: are Core i-TE CPUs readily available? I've never seen them sold individually as part of a PC...
Thanks.

Hello NekoYami,
Thank you for reaching out and raising this concern with us. To better assist you, I would like to clarify a couple of points:
- Are you asking specifically about Embedded CPUs with the “E” suffix, or standard desktop CPUs?
- What is your main purpose for wanting to know the maximum turbo power of these Core CPUs?
Once I have this information, I will be able to provide you with the most accurate guidance and assistance.
Looking forward to your reply.

I don't know if "E" series CPUs are usable in a desktop PC, since only the "E" suffix is added; I assumed they were. If they aren't usable in a desktop PC, I'll remove them from my list.
What bothers me is that the "E" series CPUs have a maximum turbo frequency without a maximum turbo power.

Hello NekoYami,
Thank you for your message.
Intel “E” series CPUs are typically embedded processors, and their compatibility with desktop PCs can vary depending on the motherboard and platform. Not all “E” series CPUs are guaranteed to function in standard desktop setups, so it’s understandable that you want to confirm this before including them in your list.
Regarding your concern about maximum turbo frequency appearing without a specified maximum turbo power, this is more detailed technical information that is best addressed by the Embedded Community forum. I recommend posting your question on the Intel Communities forums, where experts can provide accurate guidance on embedded CPU behavior and specifications.
I will go ahead and transfer your inquiry to the appropriate forum for further assistance.

Hello @NekoYami,
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
You can try to look for the datasheet of a family, for LGA 1700 I have remembered Raptor Lake, so this is the datasheet, where you can find the processor Base Power.
For your query, the maximum power consumption may vary and I think you can use the definitions of the Power Limits, where PL1 is the Base Power and PL2 considers when turbo activates that the usual recommendation is PL2=PL1*1.25, that it draws higher power.
Regarding the E, yes, the processors are used for Embedded applications, but they can be used in laptops or small devices, for desktop usage you can consider other processors with a different suffix like K or T.
Best regards,
