Hi,

Are there any reference code and documentation for thermals?

What are the recommended trip points for Hot, Aux0, Aux1 and Aux2?

What are the recommended OSPM visible trip points for ACPI _AC0, _PSV, _CRT etc?

Best regards,

B-O

Hello Berth-Olof,

The information that may help you is stated in chapter 14, on pages from 461 to 500 of the https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/manuals/64-ia-32-architectures-software-developer-system-programming-manual-325384.pdf Intel(R) 64 and IA-32 Architectures Software Developer's Manual Volume 3 (3A, 3B & 3C): System Programming Guide document # 325384.

On the other hand, the trip settings (Hot, Aux2, Aux1, Aux0) and OSPM information that may help you can be found in the BIOS Writers Guides for each platform.

Please let us know if this information is useful to you.

Best Regards,

Carlos A.

Thank you Carlos,

I was able to pull it together from various sources (documentation, ACPI code disassembly and internet resources).

Best regards,
