i7-3615QE Processor Inquiry

Good day.

I would like to know the average power consumption value (in range would be fine as well) when the i7-3615QE processor is undergoing the Intel Thermal Analysis Tool (TAT).

The reason is to know the suitable power value range to be set in the thermal simulation analysis for identifying the heat sink effectiveness.

It is understood that the datasheet do provide the Thermal Design Power (TDP) value, but whenever this value is used in the simulation, the simulated temperature will exceed the maximum junction temperature (105 degree Celsius). As such, would like to know the logical power consumption value range when undergoing the TAT process. Thanks.

The affected device is developed by third-party company and for your information, there is no issue with the processor itself.

The original intention of inquiring for the power consumption value during TAT application is to utilize the value in the thermal simulation for heat sink enhancement purpose only.
