Hi Tech,
part#FTXL710-BM2 S LLK7
180pcs from PO#029-23621 with D/C 2223 & Lot Code L223TB39
Our customer used the above parts and found that 2pc is defective, description as below:
NG phenomenon: The test found that the XL710 has 2 channels of 40G, one of which is not running, and the other is normal.
Reason for NG:
1. The impedance of the two pins 40G_RX_L0_N and 40G_RX_L0_P is abnormal
2. Normal 8M ohm, abnormal chip 1 is 1K, and abnormal chip 2 is 2K ohm.
3. Remove the NG chip and measured and found abnormal impedance of the chip body.
4. After the NG board is replaced with a new XL710 chip, the function is normal, and the chip is confirmed to be defective.
For comparison, I found the A4 pin, and the other OK pins have the same impedance as A4, 7-8M ohms.
The relevant test pictures are shown in the attachment. The customer needs supplier's technical support. Could you help check and advise?
Thanks.

Hi Carlos,
It seems that I missed something…
I checked and didn’t find related email you mentioned on 3/27's comments as attached image.
Could you help re-send the related email to me ( jun.liu@mouser.com )?
Thanks.
