update microcode, use 12900, find core core scheduling issue

I use 12900 to run a program after update microcode, find core scheduling issue, the program is low utilization and runtime is too high than no update microcode, and I use OS win10 Pro 22H2 and win11-22H2-24H2, the question has always existed

I don't know is why, is some driver issue or BIOS some setting is need to adjust?

I understand that after updating the microcode on your Intel Core i9-12900, you are seeing lower CPU utilization and longer runtime in your application on both Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 (22H2–24H2).

• What is your motherboard make/model and current BIOS version?
• Was the BIOS update the only change made before you noticed this behavior?
• Does the issue occur with only this application, or with other workloads as well?
• Could you describe what you mean by the "core scheduling issue"? For example, are threads running on different cores than expected, or are you only observing lower CPU utilization and increased runtime?
• Have you tried reverting to the previous BIOS version, and if so, does the issue persist?

re: Ennoconn microcomputer, model CES-EQ67 and CES-MV10, but the PCH is same H610

re: Yes, only update BIOS version, But when checking the BIOS historical records of different machines, I find only the difference in microcode updates, CES-EQ67 have not update microcode, and no MV10 microcode version information in the historical records

3.Does the issue occur with only this application, or with other workloads as well?

re: other workloads as well, running same program on EQ67 is no problem, MV10 is exist issue

4.Could you describe what you mean by the "core scheduling issue"? For example, are threads running on different cores than expected, or are you only observing lower CPU utilization and increased runtime?

re: running same application, the some threads utilization is high, another threads is low and runtime is increased on MV10, but the EQ67 is average, runtime is low than MV10

5.Have you tried reverting to the previous BIOS version, and if so, does the issue persist?

re: I would like to try returning the BIOS version for verification, but it is currently not allowed at the customer's site and may need to be attempted at another time
