Hi,
I have a board with IceLake D LCC SoC, and I am trying to boot the board with Coreboot.
So below is my questions:
- Does Coreboot support IceLake D LCC SoC?
- If yes, what is the platform option and where can I get Intel’s FSP for it?
Many thanks.
Max

Hello @AaronChang ,
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
Yes, Ice Lake support Core boot; please refer to the following links to get more information:
https://doc.coreboot.org/soc/intel/icelake/iceLake_coreboot_development.html
If this for a third-party manufacturer board, you can also get Intel support through your OEM.
Best regards,

Hi Jaime,
Thank you for the reply. I found that the Coreboot supports IceLake-Y and IceLake-U, but I can’t find IceLake-D.
Do you mean I can use IceLake-Y or IceLake-U option to compile the image for IceLake-D?
Thanks,
Max

Hello @AaronChang ,
As Coreboot is an independent Open Source project, is really up to them add support for a given Board/CPU SKU. I was not able to find any reference at Intel side; so I recommend checking with Coreboot at https://www.coreboot.org/ contact us support.

Hi Jaime_Lizarme,
I am using board with Icelake D LCC SOC.
I am not able to find Icelake folder in soc/intel/ directory of coreboot.
The link you shared is not opening (server not found 404 error).
Could help me why it not showing me support for icelake D LCC SOC?
If coreboot is not supporting it, is there any alternative which will support icelake family (Intel Xeon D-1700 processor)
Thanks & Regard,
Rajat Dongre
