We've followed the XL710 reference schematics and built a board with the -BM1 device for SFP+.
We've checked power supply sequencing, resets, etc. but cannot get the device to show up on the PCIe bus (x4 via PEG).
We are also comparing our design to an Intel XL710-DA2 network adapter.
Are there any other design documents, helpful hints, etc. out there?
The reference schematics go back to 2013, I fear that they have been updated internally at Intel but not published.
In the past, we have designed 82576 and i210 products sucessfully, so we are not new to this.
