Hi HLove,
Thank you for reaching out to Intel community.
We appreciate your proactive approach in providing us with the details. However, we do have a few doubts that we would like clarified.
Could you please confirm if the NIC is embedded on the PCB or not? Additionally, please share the link to the firmware that you are trying to install.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best Regards,
Simon

Hi Simon,
Thank you for getting back to me.
The NIC IC itself is on the custom PCB.
There are lots of binary files packages up in the nvmupdate tool that I have tried. Could you advise as to what I should be trying to upload and how to get it?
Many thanks,
Henry

Hi Simon,
That forum seems to be for the FPGA/CPLD product streams, not the Networking products (of which the X710 is).
Have you provided me with the correct forum?
Many thanks,
Henry
