Hi Guys:

               We are currently evaluating the E610-XAT2 solution and have proceeded with the purchase of the E610-XT2 reference board for OCP integration.

               However, we observed that in firmware version 1.01, the Port 2 Link/ACT LED would blink during activity. After updating the firmware to version 1.21 using the E610_NVMUpdatePackage_v1_21, the LED no longer blinks during activity.

               How should we proceed to ensure normal LED functionality? Are there any methods we can use to fix the LED issue?

Regarding the issue with LED activity, we recommend updating the NVM using Driver Pack 30.4, which includes NVM version 1.30. Kindly refer to the link below for further details.

1. System/motherboard model used with the E610-XT2

2. BIOS/UEFI version currently running on the system

3. Network driver version installed on the host system (Windows/Linux, please specify OS and driver source).

4. Does the LED remain completely off, or is it lit solid without blinking during traffic?

5. Are both ports showing the same behavior, or only Port 2?

6. For clarification, the Port 2 still able to establish connection after the update, correct?

                  The reply is as follows:

1. System/motherboard model used with the E610-XT2

     Ans: MB Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite ( AMD X570 Chipset ) / Using form factor is OCP(requires a pcie to ocp adapter)

2. BIOS/UEFI version currently running on the system

    Ans: BIOS Ver.F40g

3. Network driver version installed on the host system (Windows/Linux, please specify OS and driver source).

    Ans: OS:Windows 11 / Driver: Intel website driver ixw in Release_30.3

4. Does the LED remain completely off, or is it lit solid without blinking during traffic?

     Ans: lit solid without blinking during traffic

5. Are both ports showing the same behavior, or only Port 2?

    Ans: only Port 2

6. For clarification, the Port 2 still able to establish connection after the update, correct?

    Ans: Yes

                   I tried using NVM using Driver Pack 30.4, which includes NVM version 1.30, and confirmed that it can solve the LED issue.
