E810 CQA2 firmware upgrade error

Tool execution completed with the following status: The configuration file could not be opened/read, or a syntax error was discovered in the file.

I am trying to upgrade the firmware but I keep getting the same error above.

I tried all:

E810_NVMUpdatePackage_v2_02_Linux.tar.gz
E810_NVMUpdatePackage_v2_15_Linux.tar.gz
E810_NVMUpdatePackage_v2_22_Linux.tar.gz

OS: RHEL-8.3.0

# ethtool -i ens2f0

Hello Loughlam,


Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities. 


Please provide the following information that would help in checking your request.

1.) PBA and serial number of the adapter. You may refer to the link below on where to find the PBA number. Providing photos of the adapter focusing on the markings (white sticker) found on the physical card will be highly appreciated for us to double check on it. The PBA consists 6-3 digit number located at the last part of the serial number.

2.) Lspci output

3.) Share the link where was the NVM package downloaded from.

Can you share to us what makes you think that the card is for evaluation? Yes please, kindly provide the makings for us to validate if it is for validation. We will also check if the card is OEM so that we can also direct you to the right support team.
