Flashing Network ROM on 82577lm

I have a Lenovo laptop model X201 and I suspect the ethernet ROM is corrupted. When I try to run BOOTUTIL, it shows "flash not present" and "option ROM in the flash is not supported for this device on port 1" Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

BOOTUTIL is only for adapters, not for built-in devices. For any modification to your built-in connection you would have to use whatever tools are provided by Lenovo. I suspect that the appropriate settings are in your BIOS.
