Hi wb,
I want to update the driver of wired ethernet adapter from version 1.3 to 1.5,
so do i need to update the adapter firmware or not? If need which version shold be better?

The firmware and driver can be updated at the same time by using the NVMe update tool below:

I need to check if there is firmware update for I210 ethernet controller. What is the reason you need the firmware update tool, as normally do driver upgrade only.

Hi wb,
I just want to update the driver to newest one,but the fw version is very low,and i don't know whether borth of them can cooperate work well or not.
So i think update the firmware at the same time should be better.Like you said,actually don't need to update the fw,then i wouldn't update.
