Intel PROSet causes "preparing network connections" delay?

Hi all,

Ive just gone and updated Intel PROSet from version 12.x on a HP laptop with an Intel WiFi Link 5300 to version 13.2.1 and now at startup the computer hangs for about 2 minutes at the Windows XP loading screen that displays, "Preparing network connections".

This is in a domain environment and if the software is removed the computer starts up normal but as soon as Intel PROSet is loaded the delay starts again? Anyone have any ideas what to try with this one?
