Intel i226 Updating MAC Address

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to change the MAC address on the i226 after it has been set?

I've modified it with eeupdate , but it doesn't work

Is this intended behaviour? Is there a way to reset the i226 so we can change the MAC?
