Hi. My pc recently got slow, and the internet disconnect often. My internet speed and ping is fine so i don't know what could be the problem, but today i found out that i don't have an Intel ethernet driver. When i downloaded the intel wired driver form Intel's network adapter driver page and installed it, it said "no intel network connection found on this computer". Searched methods how to install the driver, but couldn't really find any solution. In the device manager i don't have any Intel(R) driver, only a realtek one. Could somebody help me how to install it?
Ps.: ( I don't know what that "select location" is when making that post so sorry for choosing the wrong one)

You do not have an Intel LAN device, thus no Intel network connection.

Also, you should be posting here:

A moderator will move your thread.

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Hello wentax,

Thank you for providing the requested information.

After checking the SSU logs, your system does not come with Intel Ethernet connection. This is the reason why you encountered error "no intel network connection found on this computer" while installing the driver.

Your Asus P8H61-M LX2 comes with Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller. Kindly contact your System manufacturer for the correct driver for your system. Unfortunately, this is already out of our scope and Asus are in best position where you can seek assistance.

Here is the list of System Manufacturers

If you don't have any additional assistance needed, please be informed that we will now close this request. Just feel free to post a new question if you may have any other inquiry in the future as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Stay safe and have an amazing weekend ahead!

Best regards,
